Today is the day….. I have been meaning to start this blog for a long time but kept procrastinating. You know how life gets busy. Family,work, friends and some traveling…

So, let me introduce myself. I am Jessica. I was born and raised in Sardinia, Italy, in the province of Oristano. It’s a village where life is slow. I moved to the UK when I was 19 years old because I wanted to study English. So I decided to leave my life and adventure to London. Back then, I did not know yet that I was about to start an amazing journey. Many doors were about to open for me. I still didn’t know about my passion for traveling. I have always wanted to be an Air Traffic Controller. That’s what I studied back home. I came to the UK to learn English and pursue that dream. I started to work while I studied. An entirely new world was waiting for me to explore. When I was young, I never traveled outside the Italian border. Most of my travels were to Rome since our family lives there, so it was our go-to place. Yet, my parents were really adventurous and used to take us to local places. But, I don’t complain because Sardinia is an amazing place. I was lucky enough to have been born in such an amazing place. 

Living in another country made me more open-minded. I became curious about other cultures and wanted to explore more countries. I eventually changed my mind about Italy. I realized it didn’t have it all, the best food, the best people, or the best place in the world. Every Country is special on its unique way and made me want to explore more and more. Now that I was financially independent I finally explore the world. I started to do day trips and some European traveling. Eventually, I began exploring outside Europe. I loved planning those trips. I enjoyed reading about the destinations and finding things to see and do once there. So, here I am 12 years later. I am a mum of 2 children. Ryan is 30 months old and Eva is 5 months old. We are still living in the UK. I moved 6 years ago to Windsor in Berkshire and love it here. I never looked back to move to Italy. Before COVID started, I was doing my Master in Tourism Management. I completed it just in time to put my new career dream on hold. I wanted to start my own business as a Travel Agent. When it was time for me to go back to work after maternity leave in 2023, I made a decision. It was finally time for me to start my own business as Independent Travel Agent.

Here I am writing this to take you on some journey with me and my children. At the moment, we do a lot of day trips in England. This is easier. We also take some vacations abroad which I will share going along. I will tell you more about our trips next time. The kids have just woken up and they need to go. See you in the next post!
